Enroute visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, it is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village.
DAY 1 : Arrive Colombo - Pinnawela - Kandy
Arrive at Colombo Airport, meet and greet by our representative. Later proceed to Kandy. Enroute visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, it is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village. Later drive towards Kandy, arrive and check in at Theva Residence Kandy, ideally located along the slopes of the Hantana range.
It offers commanding views over the surrounding mountains and the bustle of the Kandy town located only two kilometres away.Overnight stay in Kandy. Note : In the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela, one can visit the elephant at feeding time to see the baby elephants being bottle fed and the entire herd being taken for a bath thereafter to the river near by. These activities take place at specific timings only.
DAY 2 : Kandy - Peradeniya - Kandy
Today morning proceed to visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. It is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy It is located in the royal palace complex which houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. Later visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens.The botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. Evening is free for leisure.

DAY 3 : Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
Today after breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya is the hill country of the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The city name meaning is "city on the plain (table land)" or "city of light". On arrival check in at Jetwing Warwick Garden Hotel. Itis an old colonial bungalow built in the style of a Scottish country mansion. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya. DAY 4 : Nuwara Eliya - Hakgala - Nuwara Eliya
Today after breakfast proceed to Hakgala Botanical Garden. Hakgala second largest garden in Sri Lanka. There are over 10,000 species of flora planted here and during the Spring season in Nuwara Eliya thousands of visitors come to see the blooms here.The garden is famous for number of species of Orchids and Roses are planted there. DAY 5 : Nuwara Eliya - Negombo

It is a hidden treasure. RAMESWARAM : the most sacred temple town of India is an island hallowed by the epic Ramayana, where Lord Rama is said to have visited before going into battle of Srilanka. DAY 6 : Rameshwaram / Kanyakumari
After breakfast drive to Kanyakumari. Once known as the "Alexandaria of the East", Kanyakumari is an abode for art, culture, civilization and pilgrimage for years. It was a popular centre for commerce and trade. Visit the temple, Vivekananda Rock, Valluvar Statue and witness the sunset and sunrise. Overnight at Kanyakumari. (B,D)
DAY 7 : Kanyakumari / Madurai
After breakfast drive to Madurai. Madurai is one of the oldest cities of south India and had originally been designed in a lotus motif. It is an extremely sacred city and here lies the renowned Meenakshi Temple. The vast walled complex of the templewith its shadowy chambers, tank, carved columns, shrines and courtyards built between twelve towering gopurams is considered south India's finest example of Dravidian architecture. In the evening visit Nayatkar Temple for the light and sound show. Overnight at Madurai. (B,D)
DAY 8 : Madurai / Kodaikanal
Drive to Kodaikanal and check-in to the hotel to relax. Well laid out walking path through picturesque prospects, tumultuous water falls and steep rock out drops are the attractions of Kodai. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Kodaikanal, one of the India's most beautiful hillstation. Visit Bryants Park - famous for its flowers, hybrids and grafts which is housed in a glass house, Green Valley view (earlier known as Suicide Point) Coakers Walk, Silver Cascade Waterfalls, Silent valley. DAY 9 : Kodaikanal / Ooty
Drive to Ooty, the queen of hillstations. The beautiful hill station established by the British in the early part of the 19th century. A fine retreat from the heat of the plains. Ooty offers scenic beauty and relaxed ambience. The Beautiful Ooty Lake, Set Among Groves Of Eucalyptus Trees Is A Popular Spot With Its Facilities For Boating. Nilgiris is India's first biosphere. It has been declared has one of the 14 "Hotspots" of the world because of its unique bio-diversity. Overnight at Ooty. (B,D)
DAY 10 : Ooty
Full day excursion to Ooty and Coonoor. Visit Botanical Gardens, the Lake, Dodabetta peak, which provides beautiful views of the surrounding hills and plains at Ooty. Located at a lower altitude, with a warmer climate, Coonoor is a popular hill resort in its own way. You can take a Optional toy train to Coonoor to enjoy the scenic beauties. The well laid-out Sim's park here is a beautiful botanical garden, with many rare flowers, shrubs and trees. Lambs rock and Dolphin's Nose are some of the viewpoints and picnic spots around Coonoor.
